I asked Santa for you by Bre Meli

A Christmas Novella

Arabella Daniels grew up in hell. Abusive, addict parents that reinforced the fact that she was never wanted, often. No birthday surprises, no Christmas trees with presents from Santa left for her. Never knowing what a loving hug feels like. Leaving her wanting, needing, alone.

Running away at sixteen, Arabella found herself in the city with nothing. A, what seemed, caring woman came to her aide. Making her go to school and learn. She also used Arabella to make money. Sold her body to pay the woman back for her kindness. Still she is always, alone.

One night, Arabella decided enough is enough and once again ran. Wanting somewhere warm, she ended up down south in the Florida sun. Enrolling herself into college, Arabella worked hard at finding who she wanted to become. Working nights at a convenience store, she learned that the world of business felt like home. Although never relieving the feeling of being, alone.

Changing her major, Arabella took every class possible to get her degree fast. Blowing away her professors, she aced every class, graduating with honors through her Masters in business. She does it all, alone.

Taking the best offer, Arabella went with a company back up in the cold City she ran from all those years ago. Staying to herself always, she blew the company out into the lead of all competitors. Still, she was unfulfilled. Alone.

One afternoon, Talia, the assistant, begs Arabella to go shopping with her. For some reason Talia makes her feel young and naive to this ugly world again. She agrees and gets drug from store to store. Flashing those puppy dog eyes, Talia gets Arabella to sit on Santa's lap and tell him her Christmas wish. The one she's always secretly asked the ceiling for at night before she fell asleep. For her Prince Charming to come...

She had no idea he was already there, watching her, waiting for the right time to make his move, introduce himself. Dasher Shaw, big wig in his own company had rented the condo down from Arabella a few months back. He loves to watch her facial expressions as she sits in the bay window of her bedroom reading her novels. But how can he get her to come out, alone, approachable? That other girl or another was always with her as she walked out her door and jumped into a car.

Can Dasher make his move without messing it up?
Will Arabella get her Christmas wish? Never be alone again?
Will Santa grant the girl that has never felt love, that special gift?

Never know unless you read the book...
