Take-out pizza is a simple but yummy meal that can lead to
romance.
Take-out pizza became popular in the 1950’s. The earliest reference to pizza delivery is Casa D’Amore in Los Angeles. Take-out pizza and other take-out foods coincided with the explosion of family and ethnic restaurants while returning WWII GIs moved with their families to the suburbs and the arrival of televisions.
Flash forward to 2017, needless to say a couple doesn’t need to go out and spend a lot of money to have a romantic evening. Take-out pizza, a bottle of wine, music and an old-fashioned fire in a fireplace can create an air of romance. You don’t need to wait for a blizzard or any kind of storm to have a night in. then head to the cabin.” He dropped the phone in a cup holder.
She spoke
matter-of-factly. “We should pick up some chocolate or caramel syrup, too.”
He blinked sinfully long eyelashes and as the
suggestive words sank in, he smirked. Leaning over the center console, he framed
her cheek with one large hand. His eyes bore into hers as he took her mouth in
a searing kiss that ended much too soon.
“You got something
planned for dessert?”
“Maybe.”
He flashed perfect
teeth in a full grin then cranked up the heat in the truck and put it in gear.
The goatee on his chin, and the dark brows, gave him a devilish appearance and,
when he smiled, she ached to climb all over him. A wild night with a handsome
Indian was what she’d requested, but had received much more.
