An Everlasting Bite

My CP, who writes all matter of sexy-as-all-get-out characters has a new release happening today, so I thought I'd ask her over here and tell us a little about it. Please welcome, Stacey Kennedy!

~*~

Werewolves, sexy or dangerous?  In the world of The Blue Bloods, they’re both.  No wonder this scrumptious creature is my favorite to write.  My idea of a sexy man is tough, protective, but with a heart that makes a woman sigh.  I’ve always liked my hero’s a bit rough around the edges.  Truthfully, most of the men I’ve written, I still haven’t decided if I love or hate them.  But then came along the werewolf, Briggs, and he has captivated me.

The strength they hold, the magic in the shift, the beauty of the wolf―swoon central, right?  But it was more than that for me.  It’s the way Briggs supported his mate, not demanded anything of her, and never came at her in a typical “arrogant” way.  No, he just loved her.  Is he an impossible man?  Maybe.  Normally really powerful characters tend to have way too much testosterone pulsing through their veins to think straight, but hey, that’s why it’s fiction.

So, let’s hear it, what type of men do you all like?  The tough ones that you could beat with a stick at times or the soft ones that make you smile?

Love is born between strangers, yet built upon a bond soul deep―one Alpha’s vow to protect his mate from looming danger, all the while, mending her soul and stirring her wolfish desires.

A vicious werewolf attack in Plymouth, Minnesota leaves a young woman violated, bitten and now, transformed into werewolf. But Rynn Murphy doesn’t have to face this transformation alone—she has her mate by her side. And the charming Briggs―Beta to the Patriarch, Valor―is eager to ease her into this new life and mend her battered soul.
With only weeks to adjust to her new fur, Rynn, follows Briggs while he assists in locating the daughter of the Montana’s Alpha, who was abducted from her home.  But this journey is not without danger. And soon, they discover the ones who have taken this young wolf do not want her found and will stop at nothing to keep her hidden. Or so it may seem, as bodies begin to drop around them, the murderous attempts start to appear more as a hit than a smoke screen—leaving only one question, who is the intended target…

I love a hero who loves his heroine. Or a real man who loves a real woman.

Congrats on your release, Stacey.

Recipe for romance--lustworthy male with fur, fangs, skin or any combination thereof--a plot with tension that burns hot, and intrigue that keeps the plot moving forward.

Sounds like Everlasting Bite has all the right ingredients to please me. Definitely one of my Thanksgiving desserts this year! :)
